Energy Solutions Professionals (ESP) publishes EPC case study, Onaga USD
The upgrades have created a better learning environment for the campus. The district received an incentive check for nearly $18,000 from Evergy. The project will also save the district over $69,000 annually on future utility/operating costs, allowing the district to use these savings to pay for the improvements over time, rather than turning to the community for additional tax support.
Excel Energy Updates:
Excel Energy Group has executed a district-wide LED lighting and controls modernization agreement with Round Rock Independent School District in Central Texas. The $15.1 million initiative spans 51 schools and facilities and represents one of the most substantial K-12 LED upgrades in the state.

Walker Blue partnered with a Michigan school district to certify and maximize the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for a solar energy project at a middle school. The school’s ITC-eligible costs totaled $3.5 million, yielding a tax credit of $1.4 million.
