EAST TAYLOR MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY, PENNSYLVANIA
PUBLIC PROJECT REVENUE BONDS
SERIES 2026
Metron recently initiated the upgrade of the East Taylor Municipal Authority water system located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, commencing with the replacement of meters and metering equipment with state-of-the-art meters and related appurtenances.
D.A. Davidson & Co.’s EPIC Finance Team assisted the Municipal Authority, securing financing for the project by utilizing a municipal public project revenue bond structure, unique to Pennsylvania. The financing achieved a net interest cost of 4.36% over a 20-year term.
From the initial introduction through funding and closing, the process was completed in just 84 days.
Municipal Authority Treasurer, Rick Price, commented: “Our Municipal Authority had been working to secure funding for this critical project for more than three years. It was a challenging financing, to say the least. The EPIC Finance Team of D.A. Davidson & Co. began the relationship with an in-person meeting — not a phone call or a Zoom call, but a face-to-face discussion across the table. That set the stage for a very strong long-term relationship.”
