TIPS’ new course, “Cooperative Procurement for Design Professionals,” explores how architects, consultants, and engineers can use cooperative procurement for construction delivery on public projects while protecting their specifications and client relationships. Approved for continuing education credit by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the course covers national purchasing cooperatives and Job Order Contracting (JOC), including contract awards, pricing oversight, and project delivery. Participants will learn how the process supports their role as the owner’s advocate from specifications through project completion.
