About Us

The National Association of Energy Service Companies is the leading advocacy and accreditation organization for Energy Service Companies (ESCOs).
Our mission is to advance the modernization of America's energy and building infrastructure by supporting our Members and Trusted Partners' ability to develop and grow their business, enabling them to deliver reliable, resilient, and cost-effective projects that reduce taxpayer burden and strengthen economic and operational efficiency. We do this by advocating for effective policies and providing our members with training, education, networking, and communication.
The ESCO Story...
An Energy Service Company (ESCO) partners with facility owners to develop, deliver, finance, and/or own energy and infrastructure modernization projects funded by operational cost savings, incentive dollars, and/or client capital. An ESCO can provide guaranteed performance and ongoing monitoring, as well as the operation, maintenance, evaluation, repair, and replacement of assets, through a multi-year performance-based contract.
ESCOs contract with institutional energy users in the public and private sectors across a wide spectrum of client facilities, from college campuses to water treatment plants.
Since 1990, ESCOs have delivered:
- $70B in projects
