NAESCO & NALMCO Announce Joint Memorandum of Understanding
| The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) and the International Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO) are pleased to announce a memorandum of understanding (MOU) enabling future collaboration. NAESCO and NALMCO have agreed to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the parties that promotes and supports the visibility, engagement, and outreach for each organization’s major events. NAESCO is the leading advocacy and accreditation organization for Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and is dedicated to modernizing America’s building infrastructure. NAESCO unites the energy service industry by promoting favorable government policies, sponsoring a rigorous accreditation program, and providing professional training and education. NAESCO champions the interests of ESCOs across the nation. "NALMCO represents an important segment of the building retrofit market for ESCOs—lighting. We look forward to continuing to bridge communication and education opportunities between the two organizations for the benefit of both organizations’ members,” said Dr. Timothy Unruh, NAESCO Executive Director. NALMCO is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization founded in 1953. NALMCO is committed to raising the professional level of its members and the performance of lighting systems by providing education, certification, and networking opportunities for the lighting industry. The speed of technological development in the lighting industry necessitates our organization to provide our members with the means to obtain this knowledge. They seek to provide information and training to our industry practitioners expeditiously and in a concise, unbiased manner. Our MOU provides a foundation for future collaborations that aim to continue to promote the importance of energy service companies and their skillsets.
