mwConnect Launches Bluetooth NLC Smart Thermostat for Simplified Lighting & HVAC Integration
Sacramento, Calif. April 2, 2026—mwConnect, a leading innovator in Bluetooth® mesh technology, is pleased to announce the launch of its new TruBlu™ Bluetooth NLC Thermostat Series. The product range, developed in conjunction with technology partner Silvair and HVAC technology pioneer Network Thermostat, offers simplified lighting-HVAC integration for virtually any application.
The mwConnect X7 Series is a color touchscreen thermostat with embedded Bluetooth® Network Lighting Control (NLC) (certification expected by the end of April 2026), enabling direct communication between the advanced lighting control network and a wide range of HVAC technology (including gas/electric and heat pump units). The thermostat is available for either WiFi or Ethernet networks, with models containing an optional CO2 sensor also available for applications where indoor air quality management is desired.
“We’ve been working toward this product launch for the past two years alongside our technology partners,” said Stephen Zhou, Executive Vice President of mwConnect. “We’re very excited to introduce this product to the marketplace and support real-world lighting-HVAC integration by many customers who could never access the complicated and costly solutions previously available. By leveraging open interoperable standards like Bluetooth NLC, we can break through some of these cost barriers and continue to support superior customer choice.”
The product will be showcased at the upcoming LEDucation, set for April 14-15, 2026 at the Hilton Midtown in New York City. mwConnect will be exhibiting at Americas Hall I, Booth #2103.
