Regional Meeting
2010 Federal Market Workshop
March 19, 2010 - Pepco Building,
701 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20068
The fifth annual NAESCO Federal Workshop is a forum for public
and private sector representatives to discuss the emerging
opportunities in the federal marketplace. President Obama has
indentified investment in energy efficiency as one of the key ways
to revitalize the U.S. economy and put the country on a path to
sustainable prosperity. Through aggressive federal energy mandates,
the Obama administration has already started working toward a clean
energy future that will create millions of jobs while cutting our
imports of foreign oil. These mandates requires all federal
buildings to cut their energy use drastically and very quickly these
government entities will be looking for cost effective ways to
reduce their carbon footprint. This workshop will focus on how the
energy efficiency marketplace can leverage these unique
opportunities by participating in a dialogue with the public sector
concerning the value of ESCO projects, the fastest, cleanest and
cheapest way to reduce energy use.
Hotel: NAESCO has not reserved a block of rooms at
any Washington, DC area hotels. Participants are responsible for
making their own hotel arrangements.
